A hard days night

  1. Hey! We're from America and we love this blog. The Beatles were the best! Also, do you have an actually good Portuguese translator because ours is mentally disturbed. It says that word "person" is "face" which we find actually quite hilarious. ANYWAYS. Do you live in Brazil or Portugal??? We live in California! It is around 50 degrees here which is really frustrating because it is usually SUPER hot by mid May.

So how hot is it there? What other bands do you like besides the Beatles?

  5. We LOVE Nirvana! They invented the sound of the 90's. My favorite song is Come as You Are. It's so INTENSE! Haha. I was just reading something in SPIN about Guns n Roses but I don't think I've ever heard anything by them. We are OBSESSED with this band (almost as much as we are obsessed with the Beatles. ;) haha.) called Vampire Weekend. Look them up and we'll listen to some Guns n Roses. What do you reccomend? My favorite songs by Vampire Weekend are Oxford Comma, Horchata, and Walcott.

  7. Ahh! I have so much to say! Why are there so many things to see and listen to and think and do and so little time and places to write??? This weekend was awesome and totally decked out with Beatles. I went to Borders which is a book and music store, and I bought The Beatles: the biography (not A biography, THE biography. Great title, huh?), Rubber Soul, AND Revolver! I spent the entire weekend listening to music and reading. That got me all prepared for my math final on Tuesday. Hahaha. I may have failed, but at least I had Drive My Car stuck in my head while doing it. Hahaha.
Next, look what I just found! There are these cute little Beatle cartoons! Like Yellow Submarine, but only about 5 minutes long. Here the one for Got To Get You Into My Life: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v3MkEC_YS6A ACTUALLY, this one is super cute! We Can Work It Out: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=880dZ0QGMMU&NR=1 You should research these and put them up on your blog. They're great!

  9. hi, I've seen the Beatles cartoons, pretty cool huh?
The stories are kind of nonsensical, like that of "I Want to Hold your Hand"

  10. Hey, haha. I just watched I Want to Hold Your Hand. You're totally right! It makes no sense at all! I love that crazy, kid-ish, whimsical kind of story line. It's so fun! The world needs people to loosen up and laugh at silly things instead of being so serious all of the time. It reminds me of Spongebob Squarepants in a way. But more... realistic. Did you hear (even though it's been about half a year since they announced it...) that Disney is remaking Yellow Submarine? I had issues with it at first, but it actually sounds pretty cool. What do you think?

  12. It looks fine enough to me. I hope that they don't have other people sing though. What is the point of a Beatles movie if not to hear the MUSIC? I thought that was the whole point of this movie anyways. To make the Beatles some people more than "the guys from Rockband" to "our generation". Whatever. I like the seriousness they're treating this with though. It's cute. And FINALLY Disney is doing something worth doing and not just to make money. Now I don't know what goes into a 3D movie, but why do they keep talking about the ACTING aspect??? It's a cartoon! Don't you just do voices?

  13. Yes. is a cartoon, but it is a business that is very old and also, like thousands of films now, they do in 3D, there would be legal, and the songs, will be the same the only change that is remastered, will be cool .
